ought this before a 3-day bikepacking trip on the Sunshine Coast. Got absolutely soaked on day two and my phone, wallet, and backup battery were completely dry inside. The magnetic mount surprised me, I expected it to slide on bumpy descents but it didn't budge. Worth every dollar.
I bike to work year-round through Montreal winters and shoulder-season rain. This replaced a velcro bag that I had to readjust constantly. Snap on, snap off — takes two seconds when I lock up. Holds my phone (iPhone 15 Pro), keys, a granola bar, and my transit card with room to spare.
Read the dimensions before buying, it's compact. Fits my essentials (phone, card, key, gel) but don't expect to cram a sandwich in there. For my use case (rainy commutes, short rides) it's perfect. Build feels premium for the price, especially on sale.
Build quality is excellent and it's genuinely waterproof, I tested it under a tap before my first ride (paranoid, I know). My only complaint is that the zipper pull is a bit small for gloved hands in winter. Easy fix with a paracord loop. Otherwise a solid 9/10.
I was skeptical about the "aerodynamic" marketing but on my regular 40km loop I genuinely couldn't feel it. No wobble, no whistle, no drag I could notice. Looks clean on my Specialized Allez too: doesn't ruin the lines of the bike.
